This most is reminder as Microsoft has started the deprecation of Entra Connect Sync the on-premises directory synchronization tool between Active Directory and Entra.
Don’t be worry, while there is no official and clear schedule and completion date you still have time to migrate from Entra Connect Sync to Entra Cloud Sync.
Microsoft is going to notify first customers schedule for the deprecation with communication in Message Center and emails sent to technical contact of the tenant.
One good thing with this migration is you can run both Entra Connect Sync and Entra Cloud Sync in parallel, off course always keep only one synchronization tool in production mode.
In addition, Entra Cloud Sync now supports Exchange attributes writeback from Exchange Online back to Exchange/Active Directory on-premises.
To do so you will need to either enable Exchange hybrid writeback option from the AD to Microsoft Entra ID sync configuration or create the dedicated EXO to AD attribute sync configuration (recommended).
