AVD – A new version of the AVD remote desktop client is available

  If you use Azure Virtual Desktop, you now you can access your remote applications and/or desktop using either a web browser or the remote desktop client.

  Well, a new version of the client (1.2.3918) is now available:

• x32 https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2139456
• ARM64 https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2139370

This version is mainly providing fixes and improvements, so now real new feature.

It is worth noting this the last version with Windows 7 support – hopefully you don’t have anymore Windows 7 devices.

An additional note is the multimedia redirection for AVD (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/multimedia-redirection) is now generally available.
