Azure – You can now fast shutdown virtual machine

You can now use the Fast Shutdown capability to turn off virtual machine on Azure. This option is available by using Azure Cli (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/install-azure-cli?view=azure-cli-latest) with the command az vm stop –resource-group MyResourceGroup –name MyVm –skip-shutdown As always you can use either the Azure Cli on your client or use the Azure Cloud Shell
