Microsoft has set Lync (formerly named Office Communication Server 14) as RTM. The launched is planned to be on November 17th. Lync provides totally new features (such as a tool to generate automatically the architecture needed) as well as improvement of existing features. Lync will be part of the coming Office 365 (formerly named BPOS)
