This has been a long awaited feature by Entra ID administrators: getting insights about license utilization.
Well, good news as it finally arrived.
To be able to get this insight, you will need to have either Entra ID P1 or P2 licenses.
With this feature, you will get usage information of your Entra ID premium licenses as well as the usage of corresponding features, such as Conditional Access or Risk Based Conditional Access.
The feature will be expanded to include additional SKUs (such as M365 licenses) or corresponding features over the next few weeks; it is expected to be available by the time the feature reach general availability.
In the interim, if you want to start leveraging this capability, connect to your Entra ID portal (https://entra.microsoft.com/) to access the Monitoring & health\Usage & insights\License Utilization blade
You will get then the Entra ID premium utilization (number of assigned licenses for each SKU, number of available licenses…)
