If you use SCCM in hybrid mode with Intune (aka cloud attach), your client devices may be in co-management state.
Co-management allows you to define who (SCCM or Intune) is responsible for specific workloads (applications, windows update…).
If you are either piloting or already have switched the client apps (aka software management) workload to Intune, you may still need to maintain them in SCCM.
Good news, you can now display applications from SCCM in the Company Portal.
To manage this capability, connect to your Intune portal (https://endpoint.microsoft.com/) to access the Tenant administration\Customization blade
There you can edit the default policy and/or your custom one to manage the Configuration Manager Applications option under the Configuration section
This was probably one the missing capability to help moving to full cloud device management.
