About 3 weeks after releasing Windows 11 22H2, Microsoft has now released the new major update for Windows 10: Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 10 2022 Update.
You can get it from your Visual Studio Subscription (https://my.visualstudio.com/downloads), Download Center (using the Media Creation tool – https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10) or your Volume License portal (https://www.microsoft.com/vlsc), plus off course WindowsUpdate or WindowsUpdate for Business.
If you use an OS deployment tool (like SCCM) you don’t need to update the Windows ADK 2004 (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2120254) and Windows PE Addon 2004 (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2120253).
With the release, it marks the first release with a 30-months servicing timeline.
No one seems to have any idea as to what that update contains, but they all say how you can get it. Silly world.
There is not much; mainly quality and security updates – there is no new features as Microsoft is focusing on Windows 11 (it has been announced there would be no new feature for Windows 10)
