As you are probably already aware, when you deploy Windows virtual machines in Azure, Windows use the Azure KMS DNS to activate Windows.
Well, in June 2022, a new KMS DNS – azkms.core.windows.net – has started to be rolled out.
Existing virtual machines already activated remain activated with kms.core.windows.net.
It is now generally available in Azure global cloud region.
This new KMS service uses 2 new IP’s:
- 20.118.99.224
- 40.83.235.53
