Joining a Teams meeting has been improved by now providing the ability to join using meeting ID.
When scheduling a meeting, your invitation will contain the usual “Click here to join the meeting” link but also a meeting ID and passcode
These meeting ID and passcode can then be used to join the meeting using the Join with an ID or the Meet now button (Teams mobile) available in the calendar application
Then you just need to enter the meeting ID and passcode to join the meeting
