Intune – You can now define user configuration settings on AVD using Intune

Microsoft Intune - Tugboat Logic As you may be already aware you have been able to manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) virtual machines using Intune for some time now.

Well, you were able to only manage devices settings with Intune.

Good news, you can now also manage user settings with Intune on AVD.

What user settings can you manage with Intune on AVD:

  • user scope policies using Settings Catalog
  • user certificates
  • use PowerShell script to install applications or other things using the user context

NOTE this is only available for Windows 11 multi-sessions; Windows 10 multi-session is planned for later
