You can now enable your Teams meeting invite to be displayed in multiple language and not only the user preferred language.
To enable this new capability, Teams administrators need to run the following PowerShell command:
Set-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy -Identity Global -MeetingInviteLanguages “<list of language using the ISO code>”
Teams administrator can run this command using the Cloud Shell feature from the Teams administration portal (see https://t.co/e3Sytzzo5d).
The language order displayed in the invitation match the order of the configured language in the command.
The below example will display Teams meeting invitation in English and French, in this order – the order of the language configured defines the display order.
Set-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy -Identity Global –MeetingInviteLanguages “en-US,fr-FR”
You can check which languages are configured as well as their order using the command:
Get-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy | Select MeetingInviteLanguages
It can be also used to override the default language of the user if you set only one language by defining only one language.
Once configured, the Teams meeting invitation will display the connection information in each of the configured language.
