Intune – You can now allow Photo Library for data transfer with application protection policy

If you are managing your devices with Intune/Endpoint Configuration Manager, you are probably already aware about the application protection policies capabilities to help you protect your corporate data.

As part the application protection policy, you can manage incoming and/or outgoing of corporate data to specific storage services.

Until now, these storage services were limited to OneDrive/SharePoint, Box or local storage.

You can now also select the Photo library as one of the storage service.

To be able to define the storage service(s) allowed for incoming/outgoing data corporate you need to ensure you have set the Save copies of org data option to Block

This new capability is available for both iOS/iPad and Android devices.

I keep getting the message your organisation doesn’t allow this action.
