Azure Virtual Desktop – You can now use Azure Active Directory

As you know if you are deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop (aka AVD, aka Windows Virtual Desktop, aka WVD) you have (had) the requirement to use either an Active Directory Domain Service (AD DS) or Azure Active Directory Domain Service to join your virtual machine (AAD DS).

Well, good news, this requirement is no longer a requirement as you can now use Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).

When creating your host pool, you can now select Azure Active Directory at the Domain to join step when configuring the virtual machine

If you already have deployed Azure Virtual Desktop, you need to deploy a new host.
