If you have Azure Backup Recovery services and Site Recovery services created with the ‘old’ Azure portal (https://manage.windowsazure.com), these services will be automatically upgraded to the new portal (ARM) at the following date:
- Azure Backup Recovery Services will be upgraded by October 31
- Site Recovery service will be upgraded by September 1st
You can also upgrade them at your own convenience before these dates by accessing the Recovery Services section from the ‘old’ Azure portal and when requested hit Upgrade
Basically this consists of registering for the upgrade for each service and then get Microsoft to assist you for the upgrade.

It is expected there will be no impact to replication or existing backups.
