The new version – 2207 – of System Center Configuration Manager (aka SSCM, aka Endpoint Configuration Manager) is now available.
As always, this is an in-console update.
This becoming available slowly but if you want to get it now you can always use the script available here https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2099733
No new features or capabilities, instead improvement on existing ones such as:
- support for RBAC allowing CMG (Cloud Management Gateway) to segment the admin privileges between a management point and the administration service – see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/servers/deploy/configure/azure-services-wizard/
- application deployment approval now allows approval from anywhere (instead just when connected to the corporate network)
- add a CMG as prefer option for a management point in a default boundary group – see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/servers/deploy/configure/boundary-groups#default-site-boundary-group-behavior-supports-cloud-source-selection/
