Microsoft has announced some interesting updates for Azure RMS:
- Azure RMS Document Tracking is now available for everyone; document tracking will allow end-users to know what is done with their RMS protected document, getting report of who open the document with the results – usually helpfull to understand who tried to open it while he does not have access. Azure RMS document tracking is a premium feature, you need to have an Azure RMS Premium license
- Multi-factor authentication in Rights Management clients, meaning you can now use MFA when authenticating againt Azure RMS when protecting/opening RMS documents
- Outlook Android App now support RMS protected messages
Coming up: RMS Sharing App for ‘non admin’ user to allow end-user with no administrator rights on their PC to install and use the RMS Shareing app (currently in preview https://connect.microsoft.com/site1170/Downloads/DownloadDetails.aspx?DownloadID=59163)
