If you are synchronizing your Active Directory with Entra ID using Entra ID Connect, it is a best practice to always keep up with the Entra ID Connect version and run the latest one.
Unfortunately, this is sometime forgotten and you may be running old/unsupported version of Entra ID Connect.
Well, now is a good time to check your current Entra ID Connect version and update it to the latest version (at the time of writing 2.4.129.0 published on January 15th, 2025) as starting April 7th, 2025 some capabilities will stop working.
In October 2024, Microsoft has released a new version (2.4.x) of Entra ID Connect which introduced back-end changes.
Starting April 7th, 2025 older version (aka not running 2.4.x version) will be impacted:

All authentication requests to Entra ID on the Connect Sync wizard will fail (including changing staging-mode)

Configuration of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) scenarios through the Connect Sync wizard won’t work
-
Configuration of PingFederate scenarios through the Connect Sync wizard won’t work
Synchronization or upgrade process will not be impacted.
Minimum version to be used: 2.4.18 (released in October 2024)
