The following is working for both On Premises and Online Lync deployment.
From time to time, especially for troubleshooting purposes, this may be important to have access to Lync client configuration (such as Lync web application pool, internal/external URL’s…)
This configuration may be difficult to have, especially with Lync Online as you don’t have access to the Lync administration console.
So, like with Outlook 2007/2010 client, you can obtain some configuration settings used by the Lync client.
To do so:
- Do a right click on the Lync icon shown in the systray WITH the CTRL key hold and choose Configuration Information
- This action will display a pop up will all Lync settings
