As you may already know, you can use your Azure Storage Account as a ‘cloud’ file share.
That said, there has been few limitations, especially in term of storage capability for file share (up to 5 Tb capacity for example with a standard/general purpose storage account; premium storage account already supports larger capacity).
Well, good new, you can now have an increased file share capacity – up to 100 Tb.
To enable the large file share capability in your standard Storage Account, logon to your Azure portal (https://portal.azure.com) and reach out the Storage Account service to edit (or create) the storage account hosting your file share.
If you create a new storage account, you can enable the large file share capability at the Advanced creation step by turning on the Azure Files (large file share) option
If you edit an existing Storage account, the option is available in the Configuration blade
