Office 365 – Forms Pro is becoming available in preview

imageA new capability has been added (in preview) in Office 365 to allow creating public surveys called Microsoft Forms Pro. Microsoft Forms Pro integrates with your Office 365 services but also with Dynamics 365 or the Microsoft Power platforms (Flows, PowerApps)

To start using the preview, go to https://formspro.microsoft.com and sign in to start the preview; don’t click to the Sign In button available at the top right of the page, it will redirect you to sign in to the ‘current’ Microsoft Forms

You have to definitively keep in mind this in preview; I’m just reminding as, for once, the preview is really stable as getting lot of “something went wrong” errors.

I would recommend to first logon as an administrator account in order to grant the required permissions; otherwise, it will be requested to any new end-user signing in

Once you have signed in, you can start using Forms Pro

image

You can invite other users of your organization to let them know. This is not a mandatory step, so you can skip if you want

image

Don’t worry these previous steps are only at the initial signup.

You can now create your first Forms Pro survey/quiz

imageimage

Once you have set your survey you will be able to send it using the Send Survey tab which will let you choose how to share the survey – either email, Flows, URL or QRCode

image

After sharing the survey, people will be able to fill it without signing in

image

Using the gear menu you can define who will be able to respond (default is set to Anyone but you can restrict to your organization), if you allow multiple response and start/end date for survey. These settings apply only to the current survey; if you create/edit another one, you will have to define his own settings too.
