SCCM – Build 1706 of System Center Configuration Manager current branch is available

The latest build (1706) for System Center Configuration Manager has been released.

It is being rolled out globally but as usual if you want to get it early you can use this script (https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/ConfigMgr-1706-Enable-9dd40f68) to force SCCM to get the update.

After running the script you will get the build being downloaded

As part of this update, there is a lot of improvements related to hybrid mode – Windows 10 and Office 365 deployments, Intune integration….

As part of these updates, you can now:

  • Manage Surface Drivers updates
  • Create and run PowerShell scripts directly from the console
  • Create and deploy PFX certificates for Entrust authorities
