An update on Lync servers used by Office 365 is now providing record functionality.
Lync Online users can have their meetings and call recorded.
To manage recording, go to the Lync control panel through the Microsoft Online administration portal.
Then edit user properties and enable/disable the Record calls and conference option (default is enabled)

Other features added are:
- Mobile phone notification for mobile users (on Windows Phone, iPad, iPhone)
- Presence privacy mode which allow better presence management notification
