The latest version of System Center Configuration Manager is now available.
This upgrade will be made available through the in-console update over the next few weeks, but as always if you want to force the detection you can use the usual script available here https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2099733.
Few notes before you start deploying this release:
- It will be made available only for systems running at least SCCM version 2203
- You need to install SQL ODBC driver 18.1.0 or later on all SCCM systems (available here https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2249006)
- Do not uninstall the SQL Native Client 11
One of the new capabilities allows you to define a preferred Management Point for OS Deployment with PXE
Preferred Management Point (MP) option will now allow PXE clients to communicate to an initial lookup MP and receive the list of MP(s) to be used for further communication.
When the option is enabled, it allows an MP to redirect the PXE client to another MP, based on the client location in the site boundaries.
