It has been a long waited capability; but now, you can connect to an Azure virtual machine using serial console to perform virtual machine boot troubleshooting. As if you had a direct screen/keyboard attached to the server in the Azure datacenter.
This is currently in preview.
To take advantage of it, there are few prerequisites:
Once you match these requirements, you can access the serial console from the Azure portal (https://portal.azure.com)
NOTE concurrent access using the serial console is not possible. This means when a second user successfully connects using the SAC, the first one is disconnected and his session will be taken over by the second connected user
Locate your virtual machine and access his configuration blade to reach the Serial Console option (available at the end of the blade)
